As part of Covenant Presbyterian Church's organ recital series, The Fayrfax Ensemble presented War and Peace on April 24, 2005. The group was joined by organists Jean Boehler and Douglas McNeel in works by Byrd, Janequin, Alain, Vierne, and others.
In December 2004, the group gave two performances of Nova!, an evening of Advent and Christmas music from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. Works included 15th-century English carols, Catalan music from the 16th century, and motets by Byrd and Hassler.
In the spring of 2004, The Fayrfax Ensemble presented “The Contenance Angloise/The English Countenance,” featuring English composers of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, including John Dunstable, Walter Frye, William Byrd, and Robert Fayrfax. Special guest artist: Jean Boehler, organist.
